Das Projekt Mind Retreat | Soul Space ist eine Performance-Reihe, in der Merlin seine Liquid Light Show mit verschiedenen Musikern, DJs und Performance-Künstlern kombiniert. Die Liquid Light Show ist eine Performancekunst aus den 1960ern, bei der Musik durch analog projizierte Farben aus Ölen und anderen Materialien visuell begleitet wird.
Für diese vierte Ausgabe kreieren die Musiker Tassilo Dellers (Saxophon, Flöte, Samples & Loops) und Pio Schürman (Keyboards, Soundeffekte) eine Klanglandschaft, die sich zwischen instrumentaler Harmonie und elektronischer Experimentierfreude bewegt. Über ca. 90 Minuten entsteht so eine faszinierende, sich stetig wandelnde Klangreise.Merlin beleuchtet den Raum, reagiert visuell auf den musikalischen Fluss und verstärkt so das immersive, synästhetische Erlebnis.
Plätze: Es werden Stühle, Bänke und einige Sitzkissen für den Boden zur Verfügung gestellt. Weiteres Material fürs gemütlich machen, kannst du gerne mitnehmen.
Eintritt: 15–35 CHF | Du wählst selbst, welchen Betrag du zahlst.
PS: Komm früh, um keine Schwierigkeiten zu haben, einen gemütlichen Platz zu finden und die Anderen dabei nach Showbeginn nicht zu stören :-)

The project Mind Retreat | Soul Space is a performance series in which Merlin combines his Liquid Light Show with different musicians, DJ's and performance artists. The Liquid Light Show is a performance art form from the 1960s, where music is visually accompanied by analog projections of colored oils and other materials.
For this fourth edition, the musicians Tassilo Dellers (saxophone, flute, samples & loops) and Pio Schürman (keyboards, sound effects) create a sonic landscape that moves between instrumental harmony and electronic experimentation. Over the course of about 90 minutes, this unfolds into a fascinating, ever-evolving sound journey.
Merlin will illuminate the room with the Liquid Light Show, responding visually to the evolving musical landscape and amplifying the immersive, synesthetic experience.
Seating: Chairs, benches and some cushions for the floor will be provided. You are welcome to bring other materials to make it cosy.
Entry: 15–35 CHF | You choose the amount you wish to pay.
PS: Arrive early so as not to have any difficulty finding a cosy spot and not to disturb the others after the start :-)
