IT’S NOT AN ELECTRONIC PROBLEM
IT’S NOT AN ELECTRONIC PROBLEM
Built around the work Nocturne by Mátyás Wettl for 4 performers and 16 lamps, this project consists of a collaboration between the Ensemble PlayTime and the two composers Jaouen Rudolf et Sergei Leonov.
The Ensemble commissioned two new pieces to both composers, using Mátyás Wettl’s installation as a starting point. By proposing this, the Ensemble PlayTime decided to challenge other composers, offering them a platform for reflection, bringing new possibilities out of the initial light installation.
Sonic and scenic experimentations, discussions around concepts and sound techniques, as well as exchanges about staging will be the center of these collaborations. The program will be complemented by electronic transitions composed by Nicolas Roulive and will include a performance of his work hypermisscommunicativesystem, dedicated to the Ensemble.
