ÉLIE AUTIN ist eine multidisziplinäre Künstlerin, die sich zwischen den Grenzen von Choreografie, Performance und bildender Kunst bewegt. In ihren Werken bewegt sie sich zwischen Identitäten und interessiert sich dafür, Erzählungen aus der mythologischen und zeitgenössischen Welt neu zu betrachten und neu zu schreiben. Ihr erstes Solo-Stück, Présage, wurde im Herbst 2022 im Arsenic uraufgeführt. Darin spielen ihre fließenden Identitäten direkt mit den Blicken des Publikums.

Als Performerin und Tänzerin arbeitet Élie mit einer Reihe von Künstlern zusammen, darunter Tamara Alegre, caner teker, Tiran Willemse, Volmir Cordeiro, Marvin Mtoumo, dem Kollektiv Ouinch Ouinch und Natasza Gerlach. Gleichzeitig entwickelt die Künstlerin auch ihre visuelle Arbeit weiter und stellt im CIRCUIT (Lausanne), im MCBA (Lausanne), Palais de l'Athénée (Genf), Amore (Basel), Hamlet (Zürich), La rada (Locarno), Like little disaster (Polignano a Mare), La Becque (La Tour de Peilz) und anderen Veranstaltungsorten.

Élie Autin lebt und arbeitet in Lausanne, wo sie 2019 ihren Bachelor in Tanz und Kreation an der Manufacture HES-SO Lausanne abgeschlossen hat. In wenigen Monaten wird sie ihre neue und zweite Solo-Show präsentieren.

Im Rahmen der KASKO Performance Soirée präsentiert Élie Autin erstmals live vor Publikum die Performance DON'T'LAG 2. DON'T'LAG steht für eine Clubkultur, in der Identitäten mühelos zu Rhythmen tanzen, die über 4/4-Grooves hinausgehen. Die Dreifaltigkeit aus Bewegung, Architektur und Musik ist synchronisiert und vermittelt das Gefühl einer kompromisslosen, rohen, aber sinnlichen Welt. Die Musik stammt von Milian Mori.

ÉLIE AUTIN is a multidisciplinary artist who moves between the boundaries of choreography, performance, and visual art. In her pieces, she moves between identities and is interested in revisiting and re-writing narratives from around mythological and contemporary world. Her first solo piece, Présage, premiered at Arsenic in the fall of 2022. In it, her fluid identities play directly with the audience's gaze.

As a performer and dancer, Élie collaborates with a number of artists, including Tamara Alegre, caner teker, Tiran Willemse, Volmir Cordeiro, Marvin Mtoumo, Ouinch Ouinch collective, and Natasza Gerlach … At the same time, the artist is also developing her visual work, with exhibitions at CIRCUIT (Lausanne), MCBA (Lausanne), Palais de l’Athénée (Genève), Amore (Basel), Hamlet (Zurich), La rada (Locarno), Like little disaster (Polignano a Mare), La Becque (La Tour de Peilz), and other venues.

Élie Autin lives and works in Lausanne, where she graduated with a BA in Dance and Creation from the Manufacture HES-SO Lausanne in 2019. She’s about presenting her new and second solo show in few months.

For the KASKO Performance Soirée, Élie Autin will present the performance DON'T'LAG 2 live in front of an audience for the first time. DON'T'LAG stands for a club culture in which identities dance effortlessly to rhythms that go beyond 4/4 grooves. The trinity of movement, architecture, and music is synchronized and conveys the feeling of an uncompromising, raw, but sensual world. The music is by Milian Mori.
